1. Who we are

The Cloud Bakery is a product of MK TechLAB, operated by Mihaly Koszo (trading as MK TechLAB) as a sole trader. Contact: info@thecloudbakery.co.uk

2. What data we collect

We collect: name, email address, business name, usage data, and cookies (see Cookie Policy).

3. How we use your data

To provide and improve the platform, to send transactional emails, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data.

4. Lawful basis

Contract performance (to deliver the service you signed up for) and Legitimate Interests (platform security and improvement).

5. Data retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 7 years (UK tax law). Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely. Messages you send to the in-platform AI support assistant are processed in real time to generate a response and are not stored in our database.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to processing. To exercise your rights, email info@thecloudbakery.co.uk.

8. Third parties

We share data with the following subprocessors, each engaged under their own data processing terms: Hostinger (database hosting, United Kingdom), Vercel (application hosting), Stripe (payment and billing data), Cloudinary (photo and file storage), Resend (transactional email delivery), Sentry (error monitoring; personal data is stripped before events are sent), Upstash (rate-limiting infrastructure; stores hashed values only, never raw personal data), Anthropic (processes messages you submit to the in-platform support chat assistant), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). OpenAI and DeepL are also used internally to translate and review the text of our own blog articles; this does not involve your personal data.

We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
